Because success stories matter …

Miss Jackie Blue is a gray flea-bitten registered AQHA mare.

When I started working with her, she had a fracture on the right side of the pelvis, and a tear in the suspensory ligament on that same leg and side. She was at risk of being put down, but with the help of a rescue, she was saved and went on a journey to recovery.

After three years of consistent rehabilitation, lameness exams, and varying therapies, she finally reached a point where she could be ridden again. While riding is extremely limited, she is happy and pain free, while she does experience soreness and arthritis which we help alleviate with supplements and body work. She is a sassy girl who likes to state her opinion. She is stubborn and smart, loves treats, and can always make someone laugh. She is the horse that taught me most, she taught me patience when it comes to healing and training, adaptability, and that a good mare can mean the world to a girl finding her own way in life.
